What is Pushover and how can it be used?

In short, Pushover is a service that allows you to receive instant push notifications on your phone or tablet from a variety of sources. To quickly get started:

1) Install a client app on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch or Android device, or register your Desktop browser.

2) Launch the client and it will walk you through creating a Pushover account and registering your device with our servers.

3) You'll get a new user key e-mailed to you (which you can always find on your dashboard or through the Settings menu of the Pushover client app on your device).

4) Copy and paste it to the designated field in the settings section of your software and it will instantly be able to start sending notifications to your devices.
